Whether shoppers are looking to go fully plant based or make a couple of meat-free swaps, Aldi’s range of new and returning Plant Menu products has shoppers covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And with prices starting from just £1.49, there is a lot to like at Aldi this Veganuary.
Hungry vegan shoppers looking for a high fibre option can tuck into Aldi’s NEW and delicious Plant Menu Kimchi Kofta (£1.99, 240g). This is unique to Aldi and contributes to good gut health which is set to be popular with shoppers.
Shoppers won’t find themselves in a frickle with what to eat this Veganuary as Aldi is launching NEW Plant Menu Tempura Frickles (£1.99, 200g). A popular snack currently hitting restaurant menus around the country, creators have been rushing to TikTok to share #friedpickles content[1]. These deep-fried pickled gherkin chips encased in a golden tempura batter are perfectly paired with a dill mayo. Also available are the Plant Menu Tempura Vegetables (£1.99, 200g).
Brand new for 2025 is Aldi’s show-stopping Plant Menu Plant Based Egg (£2.49, 364g). This convenient liquid whole egg replacer is perfect for scrambling, baking or making omelettes in minutes. Suitable for cooking in the oven, pan or microwave, this egg-cellent find also boasts added vitamin D and B12.
A returning fan favourite that went viral in January 2024[2] is set to relaunch — Aldi’s Plant Menu No Smoked Salmon (£2.99,100g). Smoked over beechwood to give each delicate slice a distinctive smoked salmon taste and texture.
For shoppers wanting a quick and delicious vegan meal, Aldi is launching NEW Plant Menu Meal Kits (£2.99, £335g) in an array of delicious flavours. Shoppers can tuck into the NEW Keema No Beef Meal Kit which boasts vegan mince marinated in coriander, cumin and turmeric with a golden garlic and coriander naan bread. Also available is the NEW BBQ No Pork Meal Kit and the NEW Pulled Hoisin No Duck Meal Kit.
Also launching as part of Aldi’s NEW plant-tastic range are the high protein Plant Menu Gut Health No Chicken Smash Burgers (£1.99, 227g), perfect for pan frying, grilling or air frying. Shoppers can choose from Aldi’s Tex Mex flavour, crafted with a combination of chunky tomato salsa, black bean and green jalapenos or the BBQ flavour, made with Korean style seasoning. Also available in a classic Chargrilled option.
For another high protein option that is rich in fibre, shoppers should try Aldi’s NEW No Chicken & Black Pepper Sausages (£1.99, 240g) and NEW Salt & Pepper No Chicken Kebabs (£1.99, 270g). Both options are juicy, flavourful and most importantly, healthy.
Vegan cheese lovers will be thrilled to hear Aldi is bringing back its Plant Menu Vegan Cheese Continental Selection which offers a delightful array of flavours for just £1.99 (100g/200g). Perfect for pairing with crackers and chutney, the selection includes the creamy Not’zarella Grated, intense Italian Style Grated, tangy Greek Style Block and the versatile Baking Bert that can be enjoyed hot or cold. Just add Aldi’s NEW Plant Menu Slices (£1.49, 80g) including Peppered No Salami, No Pepperoni and No Chorizo to make the perfect vegan savoury board.
