ALDI LAUNCHES SAVOURY EASTER TREATS INCLUDING ADORABLE BUNNY BAO BUNS

No sweet tooth? No problem. Supermarket Aldi is set to launch a range of savoury Easter treats including NEW Easter Bao Buns (£2.99, 160g) and NEW Emporium Easter Cheese Truckles (99p, 100g), available in store from 14^th April.

Giving Easter a pan-Asian twist, Aldi’s brand-new Easter Bao Buns (£2.99, 160g) come in three authentic flavours wrapped in a soft, doughy bun with adorable Easter themes. The Hoisin Veg Hot Cross Bun Bao Buns combine mixed vegetables with a rich, umami hoisin sauce while the Sweet and Sour Veg Chick Bao Buns offer a tangier flavour and a charming Easter chick design.

Even cuter, the Sriracha Prawn Bunny Bao Buns deliver a spicy kick with succulent prawns in an almost too cute to eat Easter bunny design.

Also perfect for those who would rather not opt for Easter chocolate are Aldi’s Emporium Easter Cheese Truckles (99p, 100g). Available in an array of exciting flavours to satisfy every tastebud, shoppers can choose from the mild, herby Double Gloucester with Onion & Chive, the bold and intense Smoky Cheddar, the sweet and tangy Wensleydale with Cranberry,  the spicy Red Leicester with Chilli and the flavourful caramelised onion.

Aldi’s range of Easter savoury treats are available in stores from 14^th April.
