ALDI LAUNCHES NEW TIRAMISU BALLYCASTLE THAT IS 66% CHEAPER THAN BAILEYS

  • Available from 11th September, the nation’s cheapest supermarket is launching a Tiramisu flavour Ballycastle cream liqueur
  • The new variant has already beat more expensive brands to be awarded a Gold medal at this year’s International Spirits Challenge
  • Also hittingshelves is a delicious NEW Blonde Chocolate flavour, in addition to returning fan-favourites Chocolate, Caramel & Hazelnut and White Chocolate

Christmas has come early as Aldi is welcoming two NEW indulgent Ballycastle Cream Liqueurs to its award-winning cream liqueurs range for just £7.79 a bottle – and one of them is a delicious Tiramisu addition.

Landing on shelves from 11th September, the NEW Ballycastle Tiramisu Cream Liqueur (£7.79, 70cl) offers a boozy take on the iconic Italian dessert, boasting the perfect blend of velvety chocolate, rich coffee, sponge fingers and Irish Cream.

Scooping up an impressive Gold at this year’s International Spirits Challenge[1], there’s nothing off-pudding about this tipple as it also offers an un-bally-believable saving of over £15 (66%) to rival Baileys[2] – making it the ideal adult treat for party goers without pulling on the purse strings.

Also arriving to stores is Aldi’s NEW Ballycastle Blonde Chocolate Cream Liqueur (£7.79, 70cl). With a decadent blend of rich double cream, caramelised chocolate and warming Irish Cream, this delicious drop is the ultimate crowd pleaser – especially after winning a Silver at this year’s International Spirits Competition[1]. Likened to a ‘boozy Caramac’ this liqueur is best served shaken over ice or in a naughty but nice cocktail and it’s 26% (£2.71) cheaper than the M&S equivalent[2]  – cheers to that!

Shoppers will be thrilled to know that the Ballycastle offering doesn’t stop there…

Aldi Ballycastle Blonde Chocolate

The iconic Ballycastle Chocolate, Caramel & Hazelnut Cream (£7.79, 70cl) returns following sell out success last year, offering a decadent combination of toasted nuts and velvety smooth chocolate and caramel flavours that taste just like the nation’s favourite Quality Street sweet, ‘The Purple One.’ Achieving a Silver at this year’s International Spirits Competition[3], shoppers promise to go nuts once again!

Selling out for three consecutive years running, Aldi’s Ballycastle White Chocolate Cream Liqueur (£7.79, 70cl) is back with its elegant double cream and delicious white chocolate flair. Compared to a ‘boozy Milky Bar’, this Silver medal-winning[4] creamy liqueur can be added to a vanilla latte for added festive fun.

For those who want to keep it classic, Aldi’s Specially Selected Irish Cream (£8.29, 70cl), is also award-winning[5]. A beautiful blend of fresh dairy cream with Irish whiskey, it’s the perfect addition to a hot chocolate for the cold, winter nights.

Aldi’s Ballycastle Cream Liqueurs and Specially Selected Irish Cream will be available in stores from 11th September, while stocks last.
