ALDI LAUNCHES NEW SAVOURY MINCE PIES THAT ARE GUARANTEED TO SPARK A DELICIOUS DEBATE THIS FESTIVE SEASON!

This Christmas, Aldi is serving up a brand-new mince pie that is sure to stir up a festive debate.

Joining Aldi’s extensive mince pie lineup for 2024 is the Specially Selected Ruby Port, Fig & Cheese Puff Pastry Mince Pie (£2.59, 6 pack) — a sweet and savoury sensation that combines a traditional mince pie and a much-loved cheeseboard all in one, ideal for shoppers pie-ning for a twist on traditions. Available in all stores from 1^st November.

At just £2.59 for six, these quirky pies offer a deliciously flaky all-butter puff pastry with a blend of mouthwatering Cheddar and Emmental cheese and are filled with a rich Ruby Port, Fig, and Pear mincemeat. The festive treat is topped off with a sprinkle of Cheddar and Emmental cheese creating a delightful, tangy flavour blend that is bound to spark conversation.

The launch comes after Aldi was named the ‘Best Overall Grocer’ at the prestigious Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) Christmas Taste Test 2024^[1]. The annual taste test, which reviews 730 products from over 97 brands, crowned Aldi as the overall winner.

Aldi’s Specially Selected Mince Pies, which cost just 38p each,werenamed the ‘Best Mince Pie’, wowing the panel of judges with their ‘soft, flaky pastry’ and ‘sweet, caramelised fruit filling’.  

Aldi’s NEW Specially Selected Ruby Port, Fig & Cheese Puff Pastry Mince Pie will be available in stores from 1^st November. But shoppers needn’t wait to get their mince pie fix, as Aldi’s mince pie range is available in stores from now until Christmas.
