Baked treats just got a whole lot cooler in the aisles of Aldi, as the supermarket launches its brand new Gianni’s Ice Cream Mini Bites (£3.99, 6x35g). The launch was quickly spotted by NewFoodsUK who shared their find with their 296k followers – and Aldi fans have been going wild.

The tasty bites – consisting of mochi-style dough shell with a luscious ice cream centre – has shoppers in a spin, and many tagged their friends to spread the word while some commented:
