ALDI LAUNCHES ITS SHOWSTOPPING CHRISTMAS DESSERTS RANGE

Aldi has unveiled its range of indulgent desserts for Christmas including brand-new, deliciously decadent options along with returning festive favourites. From an oh-so-chocolatey gold coin to the beloved shopper smash hit panna cotta star, those on the hunt for the ultimate desserts table masterpiece are in for a treat.

If you love a chocolate gold coin you are in for a treat this Christmas as Aldi is offering a giant one in dessert form. The NEW Specially Selected Ultimate Gold Coin (£6.99, 470g) is Aldi’s most indulgent dessert to date and includes a rich chocolate ganache and biscuit base topped with sweet blonde mousse and oozy caramel encased in a smooth milk chocolate shell. All dusted with a showstopping gold finish to give that ‘gold coin’ effect —ideal for a centrepiece to wow guests this festive season. Available from 21st December.

Chocolate lovers will adore the NEW Specially Selected Ultimate Melting Bombes (£6.49, 335g). A rich marbled chocolate outer shell filled with a rich blonde mousse, salted caramel sauce, brownie pieces, honeycomb, chocolate sponge, biscuit balls and even white chocolate stars, this crowd-pleasing pud promises to tantalise the taste buds. Also paired with a shimmery chocolate pouring sauce for that Christmas finish! Available from 21st December.

Also NEW for 2024, the Specially Selected Raspberry & White Chocolate Semifreddo Wreath (£5.99, 510g) is available from 11th November and serves six people for less than £6! Combining a white chocolate semifreddo wreath, layered with meringue pieces, white chocolate chunks and a raspberry compote, guests will make sure they leave room for dessert with this one.

The Specially Selected Marbled Roulade (£4.19, 425g/445g) is coming back this Christmas in new flavours. Available in salted maple & pecan, marbled brown sugar meringue with a salted maple sauce, filled with British caramel cream and pecans, or black forest, marbled chocolate meringue, swirled with a tangy cherry sauce and whipped British cream. Available in stores now.

Another newcomer for this Christmas, the Specially Selected Centrepiece Melt in the Middle Puddings (£6.99, 730g), come in a choice of Black Forest or Chocolate Orange, each with an oozing secret centre ready to be finished with a rich chocolate sauce and topped with a glittery dusting to finish. Available from 19th December.

Nothing says tradition like Aldi’s Specially Selected Belgian Chocolate Yule Log (£8.99, 815g). Hand-rolled with Belgian chocolate ganache, white chocolate mousse, crunchy chocolate shavings and glitter dust or a NEW luxurious white chocolate and raspberry edition, this staple dessert is a must have for any festive dining table or Christmas party spread. Available from 21st December. 

A returning, beloved favourite of Aldi’s Christmas dessert range, the Specially Selected Smash Dome Cake (£14.99, 1kg), is a cake lover’s dream with a showstopping twist! A layered chocolate cake is topped with a Swiss chocolate dome that once smashed will reveal luxurious chocolate ganache and indulgent sweet treats. Available from 12th December.

For those after something a little more bitesize, the gooey Specially Selected Belgian Chocolate Ganache Pinecones (£3.99, 210g) return with two moreish flavours. Shoppers can choose between Belgian milk chocolate and sea salt or Belgian blonde chocolate and salted caramel. Available from 6th December. 

Shoppers will be thrilled to know the beloved Specially Selected Panna Cotta Star (£9.49, 900g) will also be back on shelves from 21st December. Available in a refreshingly light passionfruit or raspberry and Prosecco jelly topped with a smooth and creamy Madagascan vanilla panna cotta made using British cream, this star-shaped dessert is the perfect dazzling centrepiece.  

Aldi’s range of showstopping centrepiece desserts are available in store from 11th November.
