ALDI CUTS PLASTIC WASTE IN TOILET ROLL TRIAL
9 February, 2024Aldi is trialling double toilet rolls in a bid to reduce plastic waste, as well as the number of lorries needed to deliver them to stores.
The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has doubled the volume of sheets per roll on select own-brand lines which will in turn reduce the size of the packaging.

16 January, 2024Aldi, the UK’s lowest-priced supermarket* is cutting the price of more than 40 of its most commonly-bought items.
From tomorrow, the latest products will include popular weekly shop items such as coffee, tinned soups, and pet food – with prices lowered by up to 17%, to ensure its customers can buy the highest-quality products at the lowest possible prices.
