ALDI COVID-19 UPDATE – Aldi to ease product limits put in place on majority of products

Aldi is easing the temporary restrictions put in place to limit the number of items shoppers can purchase.

From today (Tuesday 31/03/2020), only the following restrictions will apply across all UK stores.

Four per customer:

• Antibacterial wipes
• Hand wash and soap
• Shower gel
• Bleach
• Toilet tissue, kitchen towel, tissues
• Nappies
• Pasta
• Canned tomatoes, canned beans and sausages
• Part baked bread
• Beers, wines and spirits

The following products will be limited to two per customer:

• Antibacterial hand gel
• UHT milk
• Baby formula

While we would still encourage people to buy only what they need, product availability in store is good and the move will make it easier for people to shop for vulnerable people and those who are self-isolating.
