FAMOUS TIKTOK MOCHI ICE CREAM BALLS LAUNCH AT ALDI – 33% CHEAPER THAN TESCO!

Supermarket Aldi is launching the legendairy Japanese-inspired premium dessert, Mochi Balls, after they caught the attention of over 500 million viewers on TikTok.

For those who haven’t discovered the in demand treat yet, the mochi balls are delicious bite sized sweet treats, made using an array of ice cream flavours and delicately wrapped in a tasty rice flour dough.

Aldi’s Wao Mochi Balls (£2.99, 6 x 35g) will be available from 17^th May in three variants, including tropical, mango and coconut, for the fullest burst of flavour in every bite. What’s more, Aldi’s dessert balls are more than 30% cheaper than Tesco and Ocado[1].

With over 15,000 mochi-themed videos now available on TikTok – it’s no wonder it’s been tipped as the ice cream trend of the summer. The moon-shaped dessert is mochi in demand by shoppers, with some mochi brands reporting sales skyrocketing by 2,000% since January.

Not only have Tik Tok fans been ice-screaming for more mochi balls, but former First Lady Michelle Obama has chosen them as a trusty co-host in her newly launched cooking show for kids; Waffles and Mochi. 

Aldi’s Wao Mochi Balls are available from 17^th May at Aldi stores across the UK.
